Sandman is coming to Spider-Man Unlimited and he’s bringing Issue 4 with him – with enough new characters, missions, and obstacles to make sure your swiping thumb has plenty to do later this month.
Earlier today, the announcement was made that Spidey’s sandiest baddie is coming to Spider-Man Unlimited by way of the mobile runner’s fourth issue. The revelation came via a trailer featuring many new surprises and interesting additions – including Spider-Girl and Spider-Man 2099!
Aside from the two new arachnids, the reveal trailer promises “New weekly Spider-Men from the Spider-Verse”; and with the first female voice-over featured in the trailer for Spider-Girl, chances are good we’ll start seeing more variety – fingers are crossed for the immensely popular Spider-Gwen to eventually debut on the small screen.
Gameloft has made a heck of a game, and have impressed so far with enough updates to keep any fan swinging for hours and hours of bathroom gaming. Issue 4 is loaded with new content, featuring new grainy obstacles and elements that are dynamic in a way that only Sandman can provide; Sand pits, large sand fists, and an entirely new section of New York to run. Sandman is also the first Unlimited baddie that doesn’t fly, opting to cruise ahead of you like a green-and-black-striped Zeus upon his pillar of sand – think freakazoid or the tasmanian devil when they’re in a rush.
Prepare for the new issue to drop in a few weeks, and in the meantime, enjoy the official trailer:
