While we are all loving the progression of Secret Wars link , I’m sure we are all curious as to what will remain of the Marvel Universe after the series concludes. In just the first issue of its eight issue run, Secret Wars link collided the Ultimate and 616 Marvel Universes together, destroying them and creating Battleworld, a combination of dozens of random alternate universes assembled by Doctor Doom. We’ve seen a brief glimpse of the world post-Secret Wars http://newfruitfarm.com/map192 in Marvel’s Free Comic Book Day title just click for source All-New All-Different Avengers, so we know that some resemblance of the original Marvel Universe will remain learn more here.
This week, Marvel released two teaser images that provide a greater look at some of the characters that we’ll see when Secret Wars here concludes as part of a line-wide relaunch called All-New All-Different Marvel: learn more here
article source In an interview with CBR, Axel Alonso discussed a number of details about this relaunch that is far too detailed to go into here, so I recommend you go read it there. However, there are a number of details that should pertain to Spider-Man fans that I’ll discuss here.
article source On why they are calling this a “relaunch” instead of, as some fans speculated, a “reboot,” Axel responded:
“This is not a reboot. We are not erasing our history, or throwing away any old stories; we are building on our history. The Marvel Universe that greets readers in ‘All-New, All-Different Marvel’ is going to be the Marvel Universe that you know and love — and recognize — but it’s also going to include some new stuff — new characters, new places, new things, new artifacts of great importance — that should make it even more interesting. Going back to my infamous pizza analogy: there are going to be a few new toppings on the pie.” http://drsergiotavares.com.br/mapca2
http://musicbyrpm.com/map353 Alex expressed that similarly to the Marvel NOW! initiatives that this would be a way to scramble talent and bring new ideas to series that have had dedicated writers and artists on them. What this could mean for the many Spider-titles is yet to be seen, but I would expect a few dramatic changes out of this relaunch. One of the biggest announcements from this article was the reveal that Marvel is moving away from long-running series numbering. Axel explains:
“All of this grows out of our larger philosophy that the comic industry is moving into a seasonal model, that isn’t too unlike what you see with your favorite binge-worthy TV shows http://bellymelting.com/map192 . Every year or so, you offer a new story or direction that provides an accessible entry point to new readers that builds on the experience you’ve been providing current readers. Sometimes that change is subtle; sometimes that change is seismic — depends on the character or where the story is going. Each year or so of publishing provides a wild ride that offers some sense of completion, but, of course, doesn’t finish the story. That’s where the next ‘season’ picks up.” http://stuttgart-eventagentur.de/mapca1
This means the end of books reaching 600 issues and a focus on #1s for the foreseeable future. Personally, I think this is a smart decision that rewards both creators and fans with understandable starting points and more complete stories with a definite beginning, middle, and end. Apparently everything is getting a #1, even recently launched series like Spider-Gwen more info .
In Spider-Man news, we’ve known that Miles Morales would be joining the regular Marvel Universe but this is the first confirmation that there would be two Spider-Men in the same world. I’m not sure this news surprised anyone but Axel is sure to remind us that just because we’ve seen the costume we shouldn’t assume that it is Peter Parker under the mask. The relaunched line will take place 8 months after http://bmnonprofitkft.hu/map168 Secret Wars’ conclusion, plenty enough time for something dramatic to occur (fans will remember that Otto Octavius set a 100 day timer on his Anna Maria AI to reactivate in his Spider-gauntlets).

“You want me to spoil it already? It’s safe to say that there will be a new Spider-Man swinging through the streets of New York. What does that mean for Peter Parker? That’s part of the story.”
